Die Schweiz, das Land der Pässe...
In 9 Stunden fahren wir über Klausen, Furka, Grimsel und den Sustenpass...

Der Klausenpass wie immer gut besucht und viel Verkehr...

Eigentlicher Grund für die Reise ist, den 34 Grad im Flachland zu entfliehen! Immerhin haben wir auf den Pässen noch Temperaturen zwischen 14 und 20 Grad. Eine willkommene Abkühlung.

Auf dem Furka geht es etwas ruhiger zu und her. Liegt wohl daran, dass es auf der Passhöhe kein Restaurant hat, umso mehr findet man Picknicker.

Am kältesten ist es natürlich in der Eisgrotte des Rhonegletschers. Es tropft aus allen Rinnen und der Gletscher verliert Jahr für Jahr an Masse. Zur Zeit ist er noch 9,1km lang.

Für CHF 5.- kann man hinunter steigen und einen Spaziergang im "ewigen" Eis machen.

Nächster Halt: Grimselpass. Hier gibt es am meisten zu sehen! Kristallgrotte, Murmeltiere, Eulen
und natürlich das Stausee - Kraftwerk.

Die Staumauern sind zwar imposant, doch wir fahren weiter zum Sustenpass...

Entlang der Passstrasse haben wir eine herrliche Aussicht auf den Triftgletscher. Er ist noch 7km lang.

Auf dem Sustenpass ist es kalt und bedeckt. Wir fahren bald wieder in die Hitze des Flachlandes...
Es war schön in den Alpen aber auch anstrengend!
